Media and text you provide to us is held in our systems and tools and not shared with others, except as required by our publication process.
Our Tools
We use 99Designs.com to develop your cover, IngramSpark.com to develop typeset copy, non-Internet MacOS tools (Scrivener, Preview) to format and review text, docs.google.com to manage your project, icloud.com to backup local files, and channel web sites (Ingram Spark, Amazon KDP, Apple Books, Rakusen/Kobe) to distribute your book. In each case, security of your text is the responsibility of the web site provider.
Who we share your data with
We share your data with the tools we use to publish your book. We do not share your data with any others.
How long we retain your data
We retain your data indefinitely. We provide a physical copy of your data to you. We support “the right to be forgotten.” If you make a request, we will delete your data from all our tools and web sites.
What rights you have over your data
You retain all rights over your data. If you make a request to us to remove your data from our tools, we will remove all your data.
